Angelika’s Tzatziki

256 Angelikas Tzatziki

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) plain yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) olive oil
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) ouzo
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use and serve with grilled pita wedges.

Makes 2 1/2 cups.

Serves 10 – 12
