Angelika’s Tzatziki
Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) plain yogurt
- 1 cucumber, peeled and grated
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tsp (10 mL) olive oil
- 1 tsp (5 mL) fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) ouzo
- Salt and pepper
Directions
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use and serve with grilled pita wedges.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
